The difference between Long Life HClO / Long Life Sanitizer 5
and Long Life HClO 3

The production method of 5-year preservative and 3-year preservative is different while they are both hypochlorous acid water.

Long Life HClO / Long Life Sanitizer 5 is a stabilized hypochlorous acid water that has impurities removed through a patented process that enables long shelf life. However, because of its specialized production method, it requires time and high cost, resulting in very costly for customers in need.

Hygiene Aid has devised an original technique to improve the preservation of hypochlorous acid water produced by a general production method to increase the availability for customers. We are delighted to announce that Long Life Sanitizer 3 has been released for sale in 2020 after its stability was demonstrated by observing the temporal changes in chlorine concentration for four consecutive years.

There is no difference in the effect of bacterial elimination and deodorization between the 5-year preservative and 3-year preservative hypochlorous acid water. Although Long Life HClO / Long Life Sanitizer 5 has less chlorine odour because the solution is filtered to remove impurities. Plus, it is thought to cause a less mechanical breakdown of humidifiers, atomizers, or automatic hand sanitizer dispenser, since it cause less salt (sodium) crusts. (Hypochlorous acid water must be diluted to 50-80ppm when using these machines.)

5-year preservative Long Life HClO / Long Life Sanitizer 5 is recommended for users who:
●seek for extended shelf life as preparation for disaster or infection control
●mainly used for machines
●prefer reduced chlorine odour

3-year preservative Long Life Sanitizer 3 is recommended for users who:
●seek to store for disaster or infection control in emergency bags
●seek to stock in small spaces of their drawers and refrigerators
●prioritize cost reductions by simultaneously using everyday while preparing for an emergency.
